Soo…

Checked out the site this morning and it turns out that around 1600 visits have come my way today.

Hope you enjoy the foolishness.
Furthermore, if you talk, perhaps you might be enthused to record yourself. I guarantee you, there’s nothing quite like your own sleep talking. Many a morning I’ve found myself loudly cackling away at something that in reality, nobody but the performer could possibly fully appreciate.
(Some interesting comments on that page, unfortunately, it will cost me $5 to engage in that discussion and hence, I’m going to have to withdraw the enthusiasm. If anybody wishes to talk, post here and I’ll be sure to respond).
Oh, and finally, whoever came here via the search phrase “what to if you’ve only got a little bit of weed left“. Special shout out to you brother, taking it to the search engine. Sorry I couldn’t help. I really can’t, marijuana was not kind to me. However, I do have some commentary: Having known people who were quite adept at “what to do if you’ve only got burnt remnants of marijuana encrusted upon your smoking apparatus left“, I can assure you that the rabbit hole does go a tad bit deeper.

I’m so glad to know that other people do this too! I am always telling my bf the funny things he says in his sleep and he never remembers.
The odd part is that I can talk to him while he is sleep-talking and he will reply for a bit. But then he just falls back asleep after a while.
I always know he is sleep-talking if I say “are you awake? are you sleeping?” and he just keeps on with the gibberish.
My favorite episode was when he fell asleep on the couch with his feet against the armrests. He started shuffling his feet like crazy and said “Woah! I’m walking on the walls!” and began to giggle.

Hi Lena,
I can probably only remember one instance in the last 2 years where I know I sleep talked. Unfortunately I was not recording that day.
It is definitely true that it occurs in deep sleep, but quite interestingly, I have observed the same phenomenon whereby the “subject” is at some level able to be communicated with.
I guess it makes sense that rather being all “in your head” as most dreaming is, it is almost as if your senses are activated. You talk out loud, you hear both the voices in your head and those that actually do occur.
I often hear people’s stories of amusing talking, but walking on walls is a great quote. I’d be happy with that if I did it.
